Hello Friends!

My name is Megan ‘MJ’ Tapley and I am a budding ceramicist that just finished my Bachelor of Fine Arts at Clemson University. I have always loved art, pretty much for as long i can remember I have been drawing or painting or doing something creative. I fell in love with clay during my junior year of college, and haven’t left it since.

As for my other interests; I absolutely love books, cooking and travel. I’ve been lucky to get to study abroad in Italy for my degree program at Clemson. Throughout college I also took on different cooking jobs that made me fall in love with cooking and baking which has coincided with many of the same techniques as ceramics. When it comes to books I enjoy poetry compilations and memoirs. I also find a guilty pleasure in consuming true crime content. My studio is always filled with adult cartoons like Bobs Burgers and Bojack Horseman.

I hope to one day run my own studio space to facilitate others passions for ceramics and art.
